Data Centers
Munters cooling and humidity management solutions for data centers and server rooms — reducing PUE and protecting IT equipment in India's tropical climate.
The Problem
Data centers in India face a unique climate challenge: high ambient temperatures (35–42°C) and humidity levels that make traditional mechanical cooling extremely energy-intensive. As compute densities rise with AI and HPC workloads, cooling becomes the dominant operational cost. Simultaneously, humidity must be maintained within ASHRAE limits (15–80% RH, DP 5.5–15°C) to prevent electrostatic discharge at low humidity and condensation at high humidity. Traditional CRAC/CRAH systems struggle with PUE above 1.6–1.8, making facilities uncompetitive in an era of hyperscale efficiency benchmarks.
